    Friendship requests

Is there a link on this forum that discusses friendship requests?

I am fairly new and have had several people ask to be friends. I don't object and click accept but I wonder if that is all that is required. Is it rude to not ask them to be my friends also or is that automatic?

Just looking for some info on the process and the point of it.

It's up to you if you accept or not, although unfortunately this forum doesn't seem to allow users to turn off the 'friendship' option full stop...

Regards finding topics - well, just hit the search button at the top right...

    Hello Jambe!

It's just a nice way some of us use to welcome others/new members to the forums and yes you can send friendship requests to others; there is a way to limit these options at your "Forums Control Panel".

Hello Jambee, a lot of people use it as a form of welcome, courtisy and acknowledgement.
Some of your friends you may comunicate with over a period of time and develop a genuine friendship with some you may never communicate with.
I sense your caution, there is an option to break a friendship and block a user if they become a nuisance.
I hope this helps answer your questions.
