The best and worst of PC Games

    Hello guys,

Please list the best and the worst computer games you have played with reasons why.

    The Best:

Race Driver Series (except Grid): So many different types of car racing in one game.

    The Worst:

King of the Road: Too many bugs.

No quicker way to reach 2000 posts than to race somebody.

    The worst: Windows Solitaire

Distracts me from beating Jim to Gold.

What time parameters? Recent or 'all of time'?

I've played some truly awful games and some truly great games.

I'll add my 2 cents when I find them...

I play games for many reasons.

But often very often its to explore the limits of my hardware. For the average home user games are hands down the most difficult applications for our computers to run.
They are in effect a demonstration of technology.

For that reason I love Crisis warhead 64. The eye candy and sounds are just awesome.

For GREAT on-line multi player running and gunning I love Unreal tournament 3.
Fantastic action, active on-line community, mature bug free status, lots of mods,
    fantastic servers world wide.

For late night creepyness and Fear 2 is excellent as is Left for Dead 1 and 2. Also GREAT for eye candy.

Currently my most dissapointing game is Mirrors Edge... In my opinion the environment looks like crap and the game play world/concept of hot Asian chicks running around and jumping on stuff is not enough of a draw. I got it to show case Nvidias Physx. Major YAWN!

    Cool topic

    Best:
Probably EVE Online (Has kept me addicted the longest anyways...).
Good graphics, and the sandbox environment, which means players that have been playing since 03 still have something fun to do.

    Worst:
Hmmmm.... Tough. I tend to only buy games I really like, so... Perhaps those games that they make from movies. Those seem really dumb.

Unfortunately, the same applies to the movies made from games

The Prince of Persia movie actually looks kind of cool, but I don't really know.

As for Doom, well. That is Doom.

    Q. What is one man that should have his hands cut off, eyes gouged out and never allowed near a camera?
