Avatar The Movie -- Biggest disappointment ever

    Hi all
Was I alone in finding this movie almost the biggest load of drivel I've seen for YEARS.

I'm sure like a lot of people I was really waiting for this as the reviews were outstanding.

About half way through my colleague had to nudge me in the Cinema as I had fallen asleep and was snoring --- this was way BEFORE any visit to a drinking establishment.

I like SF but have been really disappointed by the latest offerings - Stargate Universe and now this piece of overhyped nonsense.

Save your money for something else.

    Cheers
    jimbo

I haven't seen it yet, is it rated PG? If so for this type of movie i would think that's the case. Not muc of PG movies, only M+.

I haven't seen it yet either.

Nothing wrong with Stargate Universe though

I saw the movie in 3D. I liked it. Infact, it really did well in Indian Cinemas.

I enjoyed it, watched it twice, once in Real3D on opening night and a few days later at IMAX 3D.

I saw this in 3D, it was the best film I have seen in years. I recommend everyone see it in 3D as that is what it was filmed for. The planet the animals, weapons characters and the clever way they filmed the actors was all stunning. 10 out 0f 10 from me!
