Windows 7: its cold out there tonight......

its cold out there tonight......

its sooo cold out there at the moment, the wife is upstairs, kids are in bed..... so i thought id run a little experiment.

my PC is right by the window so i chucked me jacket on, closed the doors & opened every window in the room.

i then let it sit for 10mins, have a look at my temps

that's some extreme air cooling..... look at the 5970 is practically blowing icicles out the back...

Freezing here in the states.

Once again Florida is having frozen oranges. The only warm places today are California and Arizona at 70 and 72 deg Fahrenheit, respectively.

Man, that "global warming" is gonna get us any day now!

Hopefully it's not too humid with the cold. I can't see moist cold air being good for warm/hot electronics.

That would be nice if they ran like that all the time.

lol..... wouldn't it just

the ice where i live has actually now become DEADLY!! you can forget going anywhere on foot, its ok when there's a bit of crunch underfoot, but sheet ice is a real pest...... as im right out in the countryside, the pathways are terrible.

used 'restore' tonight -- PC 'would not start'...
I didn't bother to try to 'start up normally', I just went through the options it gave me to fix things, it said it would do a 'restore', and then it restarted normally. where do I go to find out what it has done? (e.g., if it has gone back pre- some program, or some windows update that happened...

Anyone else having problems with BBC Iplayer tonight?
Im wondering if it's me... or them basically, everything i try to watch tonight isn't working, the "loading" wheel is spinning, but nothings happening until it just says "sorry content not loading" oddly i can watch Live TV fine, its just the catchup bit that seems broke
