What do these companies do that are still on XP and want to change to WIN 7? There would be no other choice than a clean install. This would be a terrific undertaking for a company with all of their files. Does anyone know how companies handle this?

The undertaking of upgrading is a long and horrific task. I have been working with a company that is doing a complete upgrade of their systems. The company is located in China, and is doing a complete upgrade from Windows 2000/XP, and Windows Server 2000. When done it will cover in the neighborhood of 75,000 computers, along with 28 server arrays located in 27 cities. We have just complete the corporate Server array update from Windows Server 2000 to Windows Server 2008 R2. It will not be until the end of this year before the task is complete.

My primary job is putting together the manuals, first in English then we sit down with the publishers to do the conversion to Chinese. There are ten people working on my staff alone. As to the cost, that is not something that has been quoted to me.

That sounds like a huge undertaking. I wish you the best of luck with that monumental task.

Audio fades when recording

Recycling a movie from my harddrive is taking long long time.
Why is this. Like 10 minutes plus and it still says recycling. It should only take a second. Is it bad to let it continue at its own pace or should I restart the PC and try it again?

MA-785G-UDH3 win 7 RC balance fades right? this seems pretty strange...I think it might be software, but I suppose it could be hardware. After awhile and at random occurences the audio balance will unexpectedly shift to the right. The settings don't actually show the audio balance moving right, but it clearly happens. I've had...
