But im thinking something with a long wooden plate (Not sure that is said right )

Anyways, anyone got any suggestions? :)
Is this the type of "Wooden" you had in mind???

I think that would make you a good workstation.

I bet it would just fit where the lid is open.

Here's mine at the moment, but I am going to revamp it soon. The picture is from last year or so.
But it still looks the same, give or take.

Nah, just remove the lining and request a size designed for the 'larger person'.

Seriously though, a big long ass desk is great for 'spreaders' and multi monitor setups/ multi PC's/+ a Laptop or two.

Making it look pretty is easy, a few LEDS here and there will add a nice ambient touch

However, apart from yourself, does it matter what your workspace looks like?

Are you planning on having 'physical clients' see your work area?

Otherwise go with whatever helps inspire your creativity.

i've got the plans for one i'm going to build this summer the idea may be useful for you, it's a DIY but standard desk with drawers but the top of it will be an inclosed area holding some blue lighting showing through a large thick piece of frosted glass in the desktop.
