I generally tend to skip the extended warranties on everything that I own. The primary reason is that I buy quite a number of electronics and if I were to purchase the extended warranties on all of these items, I feel that I would pay far more for the warranties then I ever would the repairs.

as a want to be hard core gamer that is one sweet laptop. My current machine does a little gaming and to large to carry without noticing you have it in your backpack. This new 11" with its power is going to be my next machine for sure, already saving the money!!

My 2 cents worth is depends on the cost and like others usually I only buy extended warranty on larger ticket items also items that are more likely to be used and abused and want to keep them for a log period of time. But with a laptop and what also what was mentioned about tightening up I would look into that as well before I made my decision. But most likely wouldn't on a laptop. Fabe
