How on earth is she going counter clockwise?

I'm obviously not logical nor mathematical.

Definitely clockwise here - if you think otherwise you are just crazy
I could just be seeing what I want to see, but I believe she spins one direction for a bit then starts up the other direction.
Yes! Me too - when I look at it long enough she changes direction.

It is a trick I tells ya... a TRICK!

Okay so.. we are just seeing what we want to see. Its designed to look like its spinning either way, based on how we think I guess? I still see it go either direction. Kind of creepy if you ask me.

    My brain hurts now.

I think this has been posted once already and I have the same answer both ways. Fabe
It was, and my answer too remains the same. She spins both ways depending on which hemisphere of the brain is active.

If you have an inactive hemisphere then medical assistance is indicated....

You can force yourself to see either direction of spin. The illusion depends on it being a silhouette - if the figure had any features the illusion would resolve into just one direction.

I'm only seeing a clockwise spin. I've seen this before and I only ever see a clockwise spin. As much as I want to imagine it going the other way, it's not for me.

You can do it - just keep looking and telling yourself it's anticlockwise. Very suddenly, it will switch (and then you'll have trouble getting back to seeing it clockwise!)

It changes, sometimes clockwise, sometimes counterclockwise... must be programmed to do that.

I focused and got her to spin counterclockwise, otherwise, my brain says clockwise.
