Oh man.....he was my favorite captain. You had to see it coming though. We all saw his health deteriorate over the past couple seasons. Hopefully his sons are up for continuing his legacy.
He wasn't my favorite Captain, but definately a personality on the show. The best of luck to his family.
This is my favorite quote from the Deadliest Catch but this is sad.Arg! I'm think I'm so "bad" catching crabs and crap. Risking mah life for people in Seattle to have some crab meat! Arg!

don't forget the red bull he drank all the time too, walking billboard for them. the show will not be the same without him.
i wonder how much of what happened is going to be shown this next season? the family might request it not be shown
