Yes I know, Morell mushrooms. Not sure of the spelling. You can sell these for quite a bit of money. :)
Mmmmh, goose with creamy brandy and morel sauce........
Yep morels. We found a few and got some good exercise. Having some for supper tonight and a beer, Cheers all! lm

Yeah it is. There's even clubs for it. Morel Mushroom Hunting Club: Mushroom Identification, Forays, Species List, Recipes, Hunting Tips & Info, 1000's of Photos, Chat Room, Message Boards, Videos, Also Boletes, Chanterelles, Morchella, Mycology
Just make sure they're not False Morels.
So, you can't farm morels and truffles and such. And wouldn't that be gathering instead of hunting, since your goal is finding an inanimate object.
Well, they go out searching (hunting) them down. Hence, the hunting denotion. Gathering would probably be more of; they know where they are , so they go out and gather them. But we're talking semantics here.
Technically, they wouldn't be considered inanimate objects. Since the grow from small to a bigger size, just at such a slow rate and are alive.
