    A good scanner. Suggestions?

I would like to buy a scanner to scan album arts and stuff from CDs and also some other stuff.

What stand-alone scanner would the best suit for me

    (50-100$ budget)

I was looking for a Canon product. I don't say that epson are bad. Are Canon's scanners any good?

I was looking at CanoScan LiDE200

I can't say how good Canon scanners are these days but my 9 year old Canon N650U is still going like a new one.

The canon scanner does not have the slide and negative slot the epson has. It is a useful addition to have. :)

What's the slide for? And, I don't f*** with negatives. So, no need for that option.

I have a Canonscan N670U which I've had for years, that's just a normal flat bed scanner that plugs into the USB port. I don't actually use it anymore as I have an all-in-one printer with my machine but it can be used on my XP or WinME machines if I needed to.
It's a very nice scanner and very easy to use, I can't remember what I had before I got it but I don't think it was a Canon.

I've had a LiDE600f for about three years. Although I don't do a great deal of scanning, it's served me well and its compact size and rather unique ability to scan "on the tilt" works a treat in my office space. Sadly, it's not in the current Canon lineup. Canon makes fine scanners, IMHO.
