    I wish they would get on with it, privacy concerns aside a cash less system would save us massive amounts of money, cut crime and put all the cash jobs through the tax system, and this can only bring costs and tax down for the rest of us.

    You could check with local banks specifically credit unions. Credit Unions are usually way better than banks. Often they only require you to put a deposit in to start a checking account. This is how I got a Visa check card. I have been using it forever. It works way better and there are no "oops forgot to pay bill now I have to pay 20% of 300 dollars".

    Since you are going to need a card of some manner or another, this is a good option to look into. Credit cards lead to dept if your not carefull.

    Even if not just for this instance, It is good info for the future.
