I listen to all kinds of rock, dont know too many metal bands. Not sure if my bands count as metal. Like demon hunter, underoath, sacrifice, etc.

Im mostly into the Symphonic Metal & Goth Metal bands i guess they're called.

Nightwish is favorite. (Old NW is the best .. Metal Opera FTW!!) although the new is good too.
Got to see meet them (meet & greet tix) when they came near last year during the World tour.Awesome group!!

My taste's are eclectic and mood centric. There's far too many genres / bands that I like and dislike to mention.

Although as a general rule - what makes me want to stick my fingers in my ears is anything from 'current top 40 lists', all Rap, Hip Hop etc, Christian music and 'New Country'.


But keeping on topic, just a few that belong to the broad 'metal genres' would be Pantera, Lamb of God, Devil Driver, Napalm Death, Meshuggah, Carcass etc

underoath and demon hunter are metal and they are awesome....

Lacuna Coil is good. In Gothic genre i like Theater of Tragedy & Within Temptation

If I'm in the mood for metal (more or less), It's usually All That Remains (favorite), Onward to Olympas, Anthrax, Black Sabbath, As Blood Runs Black, Bullet for my Valentine, Avenged Sevenfold, August Burns Red, Destroy the Runner, The Famine... (can go on for a while longer)

What I HATE is Rap, Country (any song that involves trucks is an automatic TURN THE RADIO OFF!), Pop...yea...

Oh yea . Apocalyptica & WT are also really good IMO. I just didn't list them all.
