my sister is getting married too. as some of you may know macie and i are also looking at a move back to nashville so that she can take a better job with a good law firm. we love flordia and living on the water but she really wants to do this and i support her decision so we are trying to make this decision together and see what we need to do to make it happen for her.

My oldest son just retired after 20 years in the Army. We are currently at Ft Polk, Louisiana. My oldest daughter came from Seattle along with her daughter and my youngest daughter came from Denver. This is the first time I have had all of my kids together at the same time for a happy occasion (as opposed to a funeral) since the mid '90's. I'm enjoying my grandchildren!!

Congratulations, one of the joys of being a Grandparent is you get to spend real quality time with the young ones
Something that sadly lacked with my own children as so much time was spent working to pay the mortgage etc. and for their mother in daily chores of running the house let alone looking after the childrens physical needs
