    Bumping

I am a member of a number of specialist Fora (Yes that is the correct word for the plural of Forum!) and run one small one myself and all of them make "Bumping" and "Shouting" strictly against the Forum Rules. I have searched and cannot find reference to these two in this Forum? I have a copy of the Rules that I agreed to on registering and they are not mentioned there!
    Any views?

Have now answered my own question here:
    https://www.sevenforums.com/general-d...rum-rules.html
What do I do if I find a thread that is clearing bumping?

You can use the report post button and the staff will deal with it if it becomes a problem.

Use the report button (red triangle) located next to the Rep Scales at the top of the post.

Dang, my net lost connection and Grim got it first

As a new member of the Forum can I ask for you opnions on whether this is for reporting or letting it go?

Just report it. I personally think you should wait 12 hours before bumping

That one has an hour between the original post and the bump, so i would say yes

well..... ''i'd'' say 24 hrs (maybe 12 if the OP is desperate) is what we'd be looking at here for acceptable ''Bumps''

just report them & we'll remove them if necessary..

I would just like to add that if you have any doubt as to whether to report a post it is best to do so, rather than risk any actual issues escalating.

Also I would like to add that although we may not acknowledge the report, all reports are read and valued.
