    Well Done Canada!

Being from Chicago I feel the need to point out:

    Jonathan Toews (Canada) - Blackhawk!
    Duncan Keith (Canada) - Blackhawk!
    Brent Seabrook (Canada) - Blackhawk!

Thomas Kopecky (Czech Rep) - Blackhawk!
    Marian Hossa (Slovakia) - Blackhawk!
    Partick Kane (USA) - Blackhawk!

    Go Blackhawks!

Chuck, first congratulations for the 500th post!

Being from Finland I feel the need to point out, that Teemu Selänne (Anaheim Ducks) participated his 5th Olympics, has 20 goals and 17 assists in Olympics which is an Olympic record.

Already waiting for the World Championships here in Germany, May 7-23, 2010. Finland plays in the same group with USA, Germany and Denmark. Already have tickets to all Finland's games in preliminaries, plus quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.

Man... I am still devastated over that loss. That would have been an incredible best of seven series.

    Congratulations on the gold Canada.

Being a follower of the Pittsburgh Penguins since I was young....If anyone was going to score that goal, I'm glad it was Sid.

The Finland vs. Slovakia bronze medal game was fantastic to watch as well. I'd love to see that one again. I never expected Finland to squeeze out 4 goals in the final period.

That was the least they could do, after that semifinal fiasco against USA, where you Yanks got six goals in first 14 minutes.

But the Goal of the Tournament was that of Zach Parise, 24 seconds before the third period's end in the final. Your team really showed the game is over only after 60 minutes, not a second before!

    Kari,

    Thanks!

I hope the World Championships are at least partially televised here in the States.

We do have Antti Niemi in goal. Although he got shelled last night against the Islanders. Ouch. Hope he gets his confidence back. We need him!
