If for some reason you couldn't use Windows 7...

My second choice is Ubuntu Linux. Its yummy.
Provides a very nice GUI, solid bulid and still... I dont have to pay for it.

I've voted for XP as i jumped directly to Seven....but i would surely have use Vista otherwise!

Both Zorin and Mint are based on Ubuntu, and as Arc said, why use the same look and feel when you can have something different :)

I never had any issues with it, even pre sp1 I found it good.
