I read that this is the biggest flight disruption since 9/11: Iceland's volcanic ash halts flights across Europe. Wow. I suspect it will end up being bigger.

Thanks LPt. Actually, this will be a tomorrow project (off work) along with installing the replacement memory. The former should only take a few minutes to install and a few more to run (I have been running Windows defrag almost every day since I bought this rig, so it shouldn't have too much to do). And mem swap is easy-peasy, I'm just going to run CPU-Z after installing to check the numbers and maybe try Prime95 that I have heard so many talk about. That will take longer, but since I am home I may just put that off to allow for some "blowing off steam" time, which is definitely needed after this week.

BTW, "Happy" Tax Day to all of us Westlanders. I know it is an oxymoron, but I am trying to be civil. Esp. this year, since Arnold took more than Uncle for the first time.

It seems the air travel problem is going to be much bigger than the experts still yesterday thought. More airports closing, more countries closing the airspace. This morning the first big international carrier, Quantas from Australia, announced they are cancelling all flights to and from Europe.

And all this because of one volcano. A good example of how small we people are, compared to mother nature.

Yes, a salient reminder of our insignificance in the overall scheme of things.
Chaos is currently alive & well in the airline "people moving industry."

It has just been announced that the closure of the airspace in the UK has been extended to at least 1 am local time tomorrow, Saturday. The situation is not improving.
