Jonathan this is a new Acer- Aspire 7540-1284 laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium already on it..( came loaded on it)..I'm now in the process of waiting to receive a OS disc from them ...should arrive in 5 - 7 days.. I was going to try to give you all the specs.. but on that page that opened up is my desktop Gateway.. I will be keeping it .. I want BOTH on my DSL.. connected by way of a router.... the laptop is Wi- Fi so I can take it with me when I'm away from home. or in the den.. Thank you so very much for your very kinf offer to help me with this.
