Windows 7: MSE - spread the word

I don't understand why people complain that MS will spy on you trough its Spy-net for MSE. I leave it alone but there is a way to disable it and stop it from sending information back to MSE about the virus's it gets and why. I am pretty sure it analyzes and shows statistics of what kinda and where from and etc. It needs data to know what type of virus are being fed into the wild ( Internet).Heck I think all Anti virus companies do that also so they can be up to date and help protect the customer since they want to make money. Heck Google chrome is always connecting to Google, might as well as say its spying on me too.
I used to pirate and don't deny it, I was only 16 and I couldn't afford things, therefore I could be scared of having it installed. I am now 20 so 4 years have passed so I've learned more, etc etc have more money now.



And you can block it trough registry and the local host files if you feel it invades your computer to much. It is a great product and while it doesn't get everything I do use malwarebytes along with it. Works good.

gotta admit... i tried MSE, and didnt like it... but then iv been with zone alarm for well over 5 years, i guess old habits are hard to break, im not saying MSE is a bad product, it seems obvious from all the glowing reports on here, and my own experiences, it gets the job done, but i also found the interface to be difficult to use, not because it actually is difficult to use you understand, its just i found myself looking for it in the same places zone alarm puts things and to be perfectly honest i neither had the patience or the time to learn the new one,

I have been using it for about a day now along with malwarebytes, and I have too say im impressed with it, and it barely uses up any resources on my laptop, and I tested it on my crappy WinXP PC, and it did detect every one of the viruses I put...

What language you speaking :P

I used to use ESET Smart Security it worked fine when my license expried i went to MSE. I have to MSE does a good job and ESET used to do a great job if i had money i would have renewed my ESET license.
IMO I really don't like Norton becasue to most of my clients it used to create more problems than help.

Hi there, NIS 2010 is better.

IMO most AV's are only as good as the last update.
