There are usually discount codes available for Technet almost all of the time. A quick search online usually turns them up.

I'll resurrect this thread as it sounds like a lot of people are coming due for renewal soon (mine's in a couple weeks). Promo codes for new subscriptions are out there but I haven't been able to find any codes for renewals. Anyone?

Is anyone here already a member? The reason I ask is that I was trying to join Technet Plus (I have a 20% discount coupon) and when I sign into my Windows Live ID the page goes into error mode saying that this page can't connect with WL or words to that effect. I already have a "Guest" account...
