Does this mean that I have just a 2 core or a quad core with 4 "threads" whatever that is?
I have a AMD 955 Quad but now it's only showing 3 cores on my gadget. Is there a way to check this out so I'm wondering if there is something wrong with my CPU?
Previously my computer worked fine with my Intel Core 2 Quad processor. Recently I noticed that in task manager and msconfig and even in hardware manager it was only recognising two of the cores. In device manager all four cores are showing and working correctly, but in task manager it is only...
Windows Task manager says that System Idle is using most of the memory and it has over 175 threads created last i checked. :eek:
