    *sigh* We get the rough end of the stick when all these interesting things occur.

    If it's not weather related, it's always happening just out of sight below the curve of the horizon.

    Or I'm looking in the opposite direction to where I'm supposed to be looking...

    I haven't ever seen the ISS, but I did see one of the Gemini flights go over in the 60's. It was annouced on the news and I got up early to see it. It probably only took about ten seconds to span the horizon. == I am in Houston, there is a air field where military jets take off from. The end of the runway and the freeway is not that far apart. If you are driving those jets look like they are coming right at you.

    I used to like tracking that lost tool bag as it zipped around the earth, but it re-entered the atmosphere and burned up a while ago.
