below is a huge link to how to cancel the service i have

    i give the service a 3/10

    why?

    price

    cap

    reliability

    price

    standards

and how they keep raising the price by lowering it... dont get it? they lower the price on a service but lower the download cap... yup

I live in the sticks and had Hughes satellite - supposedly the best of the satellite providers. They were horrible. Tech support was evasive and d/l speeds dropped dramatically after 10:00 am each day. Some days, it barely beat dial-up. We finally got ATT's 3G wireless for our Desktop (cell tower 1/2 mile away), and they're consistently good, but pricey, at $60/month for 5 GB data/month.

I live in Alabama and have AT&T FastAccess DSL Xtreme 6.0 and usually get about 5.5 to 6.5 download speed. Had it for a little over a year and haven't had any downtime yet. Considering this is the fastest available for where I live, I can't complain. Still a little pricey though. 8.5/10.

I use ACN btw, they run off DSL, I got a dedicated 5MB connection to my house, for about $35 with modem.
