How long does you battery last if you are running on just the battery? If you can run for aboout 2.5 to three hours, your battery is in good shape. WiFi drains a battery more rapidly. It will not hurt to run it down to 5% and then fully charge it again. At that point, take the battery out and store it in the refrigerator. I do use a ziplock. Remember to install it and run it down every month or so. :)

My battery says it has 4:45 left. If I set it to balanced(right now running on high power) it goes to almost 7 hours.

    I really love my laptop.

Carl hi.. I'm back again.. the battery is almost fully charged from when I began .. in message #20.. about 50 minutes ago.. My battery seems to hold up to 2 to 2.50 hrs.. it's showing 97 % recharged now.

Ok ....so am going to remove it and take to the ref. for storage.. I'll make myself a note on the bag.. to use it next month on the June 24 or 25..( in that area.. )..
thanks so very much. you are so good to explain this .. making it very easy to follow.:)

Offtopic, but I can't believe Youtube (Google) is actually charging for video downloads now. It says "$0.99 USD Download" in the description box.
