    Bargain? What's that?

Is that where you pay a price and then discover the cost has gone down literally days afterwards - consistently?

Does a free DVI cable count?

I hate that, Buy something and find out it's going on sale the next week.

Many stores have a policy where you can claim the difference within e.g. a 2 week timeframe.

I bought my computer not knowing it was on sale. The following week it was $150 more. Another good deal I think.

I had rented a flat back in 2007 (the year i left it) which i'd lived 7 years in it....They refund me last month (was like more, late january 2010) the over-fees from my rent: $910,00!!!! That's a bargain for me as i have waited 2-1/2 years to get this refund. Damn, that was near Illegal!

I forgot to say, I did paid me the computer listed in my Specs (7,2% off) and me Usb Creative SB X-Fi Go! (20% off)! With that Damn money back!

A few years back, on a holiday trip to my native Finland, I bought a HP Photosmart 2575 and two Iomega's USB hard drives. Got a bargain price and because we were there with car, bringing them home to Germany was not a problem.

So, the price was OK and I paid with a credit card. It made a bit under €300, over €100 discount. Came home, and a couple weeks later got exact same amount I'd paid back to my bank account. I called to the credit card company asking reason to this refund, heard that the seller in Finland had canceled the transaction. Called seller in Finland, faxed them my receipt when they didn't know what i was talking about and asked them to debit my card again, I would have nothing against to pay for the stuff I'd bought.

My card was debited once again, and again about two months later the same amount was refunded, money was back in my bank account.

I decided to forget the whole thing. If they don't want my money, it's OK.

    That's my best bargain!

One day, about three years ago now, I stopped by a client's office to check on an upcoming job, and he gave me my first real computer! It was a Dell Optiplex GX50, with 512 MB of RAM and 20 GB HD. They were upgrading, and I was in the right place at the right time.

    Free is always good!
