    Which Mother Board To Choose?


    hello every one..
    i need some help from you..

    i am buying a new processor soon in a few days.. and i guess i am buying intel quad processor...

    what i want to know is... which motherboard will fully support that processor and fully support 8 GB RAM!!!

    NOT like : currently i have intel core 2 duo and 945 board... even if i install 64 bit OS it says 3.25 RAM usable (but i have 4 GB)

    so please give me some views which mother board to choose... which will fully support 8 GB RAM! with 64 bit OS

    Most of your higher end boards will easily support 8GB, although it depends which chipset you go with. FWIW a lot of folks were raving with the X48 boards, while the nVidia 78s and 790s were popular but at the same time reported to have more bugs than the Intel boards.

    And yet, I am using an eVGA 780i with 4 GB of RAM (cannot use 8 b/c this particular RAM has particularly large heatsinks attached making side by side installation impossible).
