I was for a while, but when I started installing newer and newer builds of 7 I stopped.

I particularly like using the Beta builds that support nVidia GPUs - since both of my cards are running at specs higher than the SSC specs, it means I get anywhere from 8-10 threads running simultaneously - and that was a lot of crunching on this mini beast's part.

I am still gonna install Windows Server 2008 on the 32 core beast at school - and I'll install SETI there just for kicks....

I have started again in the same group as you did. The knights who say Ni.
I was still a member of the group, but lost my credit from SETI because of old email address etc not used anymore. No login details.

Still its good fun on the Knights forum.

I did that for years and gave up as it was using up too many resources despite the settings.

The new beta version of BOINC runs great on Windows 7. I'm running it now!

I gave up when I actually got a response from an extra terrestrial. It turns out they were mac fanbois.... Not much point looking after that
