Just curious about drive 27?
Just something I'm curious about. What happens when you mount your 27th drive in Windows? What's its drive letter? Does Windows even let you?

..... i must know now!
someone mount alot of virtual drives now!
From the looks of it you require a raid configuration to get past 26 on Vista and 7 but aparently on XP it will go AA:, AB:, etc.
Weird :S

The stories about AA:, AB: etc. are completely bulls**t. The Windows / DOS based systems accept single digit alphanumerical characters as drive letter or rather drive character: A to Z and 0 to 9, so you can have maximum 36 drives. If you want more, you have to mount the additional partitions as folders to existing partitions.
To show what I mean, check this picture. Please click it to show in full size. White text is original command prompt output, yellow text my comments. I'm using SUBST command in this example, syntax is subst DRIVE-LETTER: FOLDERPATH, where DRIVE-LETTER is the letter or number you want to assign to folder FOLDERPATH.
As you can see, the system accepts drive letters to Z: and single digit numbers, but not double digit numbers or letters.
Case closed.

@osholt
Thanks to you I checked it out using virtual drives.
Result: There is no Drive 27. It just doesn't go above Z: I'm supposed to have 32 drives
What if you aren't using English? Other alphabets have different numbers of letters... could I get more by labeling my drives in something like Sanskrit, which I think has 53 letters?
