Check out the upcoming all in one "new" Commodore

This could very well be my next toy purchase depending upon the price.

Thanks pparks1, great find. It's not bad looking, and has some fairly nice specs. Almost a laptop minus the screen. Would make a great edition to my collection of old Commodore computers (Vic 20, 64 and the 128). :)

We had a Vic20 back in the day....nothing like loading games off a cassette drive to play them!

Apple OSX (not supported, customer install only) My lawyer says this is funny LOL

Much better Idea than All-in-One-PC that is in the monitor. This is an interesting setup as all you need is to hook it up to a monitor.....

Edit: Most specs aren't bad either

    The good:

    At least its SATA.....lol
    Graphics support Aero
    Dual monitor support
    optional? BluRay? nice
    Mini PCI-e expansion slot..not bad

If that monitor is a 27" LED it sure does help. And, with a Intel i7 core duo Quad running at 2.8 GHz it can be a thing of beauty. Sorry was getting a little carried away (check my specs).

Yeah, I started with a Vic 20 and a commodore 64 myself. I can see myself using something like this on my kitchen table for a general purpose PC which takes up little space. If the price is reasonable, I would almost certainly try it out. And I would more than likely just use the Ubuntu that comes on it. For the types of things that I want to do with the computer, that would be fine.

As far as OSX...I've goofed around with it and it's just not my thing.

The only complaint I have is that the touchpad is too far left. It should be to the right, or at least in the middle.
