CNBC Is Ridiculous: Macs Come With Photoshop, etc etc

Gizmodo exposes the latest CNBC idiot.

Regular people are probably confused by the re-inflamed Mac vs. PC ad war, which now focuses on price. Never fear, CNBC's Jim Goldman breaks down the true cost of PCs. Wait, Macs come with Photoshop? According to CNBC's Silicon Valley Bureau Chief, PCs need the following things to "perform as well as a Mac": $50 a year for anti-virus software, $104 multimedia software, $100 music software, $140 "Photoshop—you get that with Apple" and $129 for a Geek Squad visit. Over $600 worth of extra stuff. Oh, and Macs get 4x the battery life, have faster processors and a higher resolution screen.

Apple's standard way of avoiding federal truth in advertising prosecution -- get a valley shill who's more interested in feeding his coke habit than his reputation, fill his mouth with sh*t and just let him open it... They've been playing this game for years along with their blatant product placement in virtually every Hollywood blockbuster. If they could have figured out a way to stick a Mac in Star Wars and have it make sense they would have gladly paid to do so.

Heh, I noticed that. And I also notice when they use Dell or other PC's there's tape over the logo or it's edited out...lol.

I don't see why people get involved in the Mac Vs. PC "war".
    It's silly.
Fanboys simply try and influence what Operating System they think people should use; when at the end of the day: if you're happy with it, use it.

If people want to use Windows, then go ahead, just watch out for malicious software.
If people want to use Mac, then go ahead, just be prepared to pay more for hardware.
If people want to use Linux/BSD/etc, then they too can go ahead, just be prepared to use the command line & try search for decent software.

No operating system is perfect: I use Windows simply because at the end of the day it gets the job done and I don't have problems finding compatible software.

+1...this mac vs pc crap is ridiculous. You'll never convince one user to switch to the other so why try?
