    Internet Reboot Scheduled

Well, it's been a long time coming and a lot of planning from around the world, but today at 11:59 pm UTC the Internet will be rebooted. So, set your clock and reboot your system exactly on time.
If you don't do it, your ISP will do this for you. Expect your system to be down for one minute or perhaps longer. This worldwide blackout of the Internet will help restore order as many connections have gotten sluggish over time and this will aid in speeding up your connections.
This is a worldwide event concerning all countries that have the Internet and even the International Space Station will be rebooting their online systems as well. If you're thinking this is sounding like it could be another case of Entrapment (movie with Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta Jones) you may just be correct.

    Nice one Doc

The one that made me laugh this morning was when I first went online and BT/Yahoo home page had the headline that the clocks were going to be put forward again because of the bad weather they were trying to kick start the summer

ironically my internet did go off for a minute at midnight but as it was 12am BST i think that would actually be 11pm UTC. UTC is GMT right?
