    A note of thanks

I joined this forum awhile back, but perhaps like some users, they only join to fix a problem and leave. Some come back and some do not. I was one of them that went away once my issue was resolved, but I came back and I am glad that I did.

I have been a member of other forums, both technical and non technical for a long time, and most of them, to be frank, started out good and quickly turned to a pyroclastic eruption of crapola. I hope I do not get in trouble for saying that.

I have been looking for an alternative place to go and I at the same time wanted to start using my skills as a Technical Support Analyst to help others. I found that place here at Windows Seven Forums. I have thoroughly enjoyed my short time here and will continue to be an active member of the community. The moderators have been accommodating, and whenever I may have done something not according to local custom, they were calm and collective and not like other forums where they come at you like the Gestapo.

I also want to say that I have made some friends on here and they and everyone else is really friendly. I also appreciate the fact that the rules are enforced and not selectively enforced where I have experienced the latter most recently elsewhere.

This is a fantastic site, full of knowledge and laid out in an appealing and easy to use style. I'm going to like it here, and I just wanted someone to know to keep up the good work!

    Regards,

    Hunter

That's how I pretty much started on the Vista Forums. Everytime I had a problem or wanted to search for a tutorial, every search I did was bring up VF with the solution I needed or one of Shawn's tutorials, so then I eventually joined and just kept with it.
