Texas smoke BBQ

Figured as the weather is what ever and have an overhang, I would treat the family to some slow smoked ribs and brisket. Now I know your mouth is watering for that slow cooked and smoked food. Just imagine some brisket that is slow cooked for 8 hours by smoke! The ribs will just fall off the bone when moved! And you wonder why I miss Texas now? The fire department came by as they thought there was a fire and I had to show em that I was just cooking. They made me promise to call em when it is done!

Oh yea, forgot to mention the home made jalapeno sausage smoked to perfection.

You made me hungry. Hungry as in pack up, drive 100 miles to the nearest steakhouse, and clean the place out.

Be back in a few.

Well, if we're having a party, I'll come. I'll bring the stereo system... gotta keep it a quarter volume so as to not blow out the speakers

EDIT: or get the cops called...

Nothing like a little bit of Texas on the left coast. Couldn't agree more smoky brisket is the stuff. Heck if I'm in a hurry Lockhart is just 20 min away.

SMOKE from case!
Smoke was coming from my case not too long ago & I haven't used the comfuser since. Today I opened the case to inspect its components. As you can see from the pic below, a SATA connection was cooked. The SATA was going to my optical drive, so that may be a relief. But even after the SATA is...

Smoke and Hardware
I am sure at least a couple of people here are going to have some experience with hardware that has been in a fire. Maybe you know someone who salvaged some hardware from a machine that was in a mild house fire or maybe a business burned and they had hardware that could potentially be saved....

Smoke Ionizer
I'm familiar with the concept of ionizing smoke from the air, but I came across an ad for an item that looks like little more than a modified power supply: TZ-2 OZONE MACHINE TZ2 GENERATOR SMOKE ODOR REMOVAL NEW | eBay The cost is far more than I can afford, but I got to wondering what it...

Candle Smoke
I have never bothered with candles before, but now I have some Lord Byron Smoker's candles, which are supposed to remove tobacco smell from a room. I'm not sure how well that they work, because I have only used one of them for a couple of hours. When I later relit it, it emitted a fairly heavy...

Smoke in Taskbar after Vista Theme Install
I accidentally installed a theme that I made for Vista, and now there seems to be a smokey appearance to my Windows 7 themes. I have tried installing the different themes and adjusting the customization options, but nothing seems to help. The window border transparency is unaffected--only the...
