What I Like The Most and Least
I like it the most when, with 2 or 3 posts, the OP comes back with a big "Thank you that worked" (its much better than rep). I know that it was my doing that brought some happiness to another.
I like it the least, when I know that I am on the verge of having the solution and many others get involved with remedies that lead down the wrong path.

I agree with your post about What you like the most.
What I like least are the countless "hello and welcome" messages that seem to be present in darn near every forum here. We should have an intro section for hellos rather than people taking the time to say hello in posts all over the place. I know people are just trying to be nice and I don't know why it bothers me, but it does.

Yeah, we have too many doormen. Some are notorious.

I think the simple hello and welcome are nice. It is just polite, but thats me. Looking forward to other opinions.

I agree that it is better to acknowledge a solution in a thread, that is why I have never included a request for anyone to add to anyone's rep in my signature. I really don't care about it either way, except that it might help the next person to determine which if any solutions might work for them...if anyone actually does a search on their problem before posting.

I concur. However, I don't think most folks do a search before posting a problem.
