    Hi all
I see some use this for reading in Bed with.

This wouldn't be any good for me -- as when I'm away from home I often FALL ASLEEP in a hotel bed with the book falling to the floor -- I'm not sure that an Ipad would like that treatement.

Also what happens if you fall asleep and roll over your Ipad - even if it doesn't fall to the ground.

I'm afraid I've never been a fan of e-books but of course YMMV. In any case with the "Green" brigade now in full flow re-cycling paper seems a better bet than creating a lot of e-books to use on Ipads etc -- also when you've finished with your conventional book you can give it away to say a Hospital or community centre for other people to enjoy.

I'd be interested in a decent TABLET writing device about the size of the IPAD with the orientation exactly like you would WRITE on paper but it would need to be able to interface with apps like MS OFFICE and EXCEL - especially for importing data into spread sheets and databases DYNAMICALLY from the web and have a decent E-MAIL application built in.

The Ipad looks nice but seems a bit limited in what you can really do with it -- is it a BIG Smart Phone or a hobbled laptop / netbook.

    Cheers

Yeah, but it's more like, "The Lithium was OK, but this new stuff...!"

    LOL @ Eyeball.

I have to check out the 'Pad. I prefer laptops though. You can do more.
