Language levels I don't want to sound too much like an old fogey but I do find the occasional bit of bad language offensive. An example is here: http://www.sevenforums.com/general-d...7-vs-xp-4.html

Yeah, I think you are a bit too sensitive. This is apparently a young man and their language is that way. At my age, I have seen it all and do not get all upset about a little deviation from the norm as long as it does not become a personal attack. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba - 4 laptops and 2 desktops OS Vista, Windows7, Mint Mate, Zorin, Windows 8 CPU from 1.6GHz Duo to i7 Monitor(s) Displays 2x HP w2207 Keyboard with trackball - no mices Mouse Trackball mice Hard Drives 5x HDD, 7x SSD, 12x Externals Internet Speed DSL 6000 |

Well, the post you linked does reveal a streak of intolerance, probably arising from ignorance and lack of actual hands on experience of using XP. In fact, its a very bookish kind of post. And yes, the language did make me squirm.
But the Poster will learn and hopefully enlighten himself. I hope this forum will help him do so. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Too many to describe... OS Windows 7 x64 pro/ Windows 7 x86 Pro/ XP SP3 x86 |
