    Pirate Party wins a couple of votes in UK election


    The off-kilter UK party was founded 10 months ago with a rather liberal approach to copyright and patent laws, privacy laws, and freedom of speech. As the name suggests, its members planned to bring in a myriad of changes in regard to how people can use and distribute files, but the results in the election were not enough to give them any real political sway.

    I was watching the UK Election on TV, and had a bit of a laugh when I heard their vote count.

    to be fair... they were never going to win a seat, look at the Green Party, they are the biggest of the "others" and they have only just scraped their first ever seat in this election

HI all Not a Political post per se but with reference to the pending court case over the 'Bay I think the Swedish PEOPLE have made their feelings well known over the disgusting legal farce going on in their country. On TV they looked quite amazed and said ' Gosh we've actually won seats...
