At the time it was what I wanted, so the price really didn't come into play. As to buying a larger storage SSD, I really cannot see a reason. With the mech ones getting upt 3 gigs now there is no reason for a larger SSD. 80 gigs does really nice as the mean OS drive.
I agree completely. The SSD is great for the OS...but I cannot justify the cost for large storage. I think I will be sticking to mechanical drives for quite a bit of time.

I own 2 Intel 80gb SSD hardrives they are saying they are full but I backed up all my files to another drive. so theres no way it should think theres only 10 gb available. please help what all system info do you need to understand my problem?
Just wanted to say that ! Can't wait to get a higher capacity soon. I'm only sticking with intel I decided for their reliability and dependability. It's fast and wonderful ! Once you go SSD you ain't never going back ! :D

Just updated to newest firmware without any issues:D. TRIM is on. The only question I have is how can I check if TRIM is really working. I run it with W7 ultimate 64bit. Well I could run the Toolbox but I heard that W7 can do it as well.
Any ideas?
