    Really?

When I am not assisted by the 1340 cc Evo, I ride a DRB Vertex (TT-Lite tubing) Snake Stays, Manitou suspension with Easton shocks, 3 x 8 speed. If memory serves, I purchased the bike about 1990 +/-. At the time, I lived in Vermont and used to go to Mt. St. Anne, 30 km north of Québec City, home of the Canadian ski team, and mt bike in the summer. Like so many ski areas, they open up the slopes for biking in the summer. One would take the chairlift to the top and bike down. And, as is the case of skiing, one would choose the degree of difficulty of the trail one would follow. Fun stuff. I also used to bike at Sugarbush, VT, where I ski patrolled. Sugarbush was a great place but, if you've never been and get the chance to do so, visit Québec City - a most romantic and beautiful place. Also great for windsurfing on the St. Lawrence.

I did when I was pushing some serious miles. Now a days I don't but should. I don't ride as hard as I use to so no need really. Just breath and have plenty of fluids out there on the road.
