Just tried to get google.com rather than google.co.uk so I could try the background thing.
Google Chrome won't let me. I either get google UK or iGoogle. Weird.

Hi Kari. looks like we both chose the same theme for iGoogle. It's nice isn't it?:)

I would like to add that this is only offered on google.com not google.ca. Funny you would think they would have it up there as well for people :S
Perhaps that's why I can't find it on Google UK

you would kinda think that if they did it for one they would offer it on all of them. I know for myself i would rather use the google that is focused on the things that are more local to me then the .com whole web deal. i know i wont use this interesting feature. Well at least until its put up on .ca then i will.

nice find! I read that they are rolling out this new feature to other countries too in the "coming days" so stay tuned!

P.S. look for the "Change background image" link on the bottom left of the Google homepage.
