The Fawlty Towers cast will never make another episode

It's a shame...
I could watch any episode anytime and it would still make me laugh.

I didn't bother going to the link because I knew a long time ago that they wouldn't do another. Even though I have all episodes on video I'll still watch them again it was a brilliant series.

A bit like Last of the Summer Wine, the older ones, it doesn't matter how many times you watch them they're still funny and watchable They were never the same though when Compo died

This was a true comedy classic, even though so few episodes were made (I think that it was just 12). They just don't make them like that any more. Even if the cast had decided to make another episode, it still wouldn't be the same given the age of the cast and the potential for interference from the Health & Safety and Political Correctness brigades. Both these, and especially the latter, mean that it is very difficult these days to make comedy classics. Can you imagine what it would have been like if the likes of Laurel and Hardy were subject to the rules and regulations of these brigades? Fortunately for them, and for all of us who enjoy watching their classics, they were not.

How right you are Dwarf, to me Political Correctness has gone too far and as far as I'm concerned it's a load of rubbish

Can you imagine what they would have to say about Harold Lloyd and the stunts he used to pull.

Although many prefer Black adder or Mr. Bean and others over Fawlty Towers I still believe there is no and won't be better comedy classic.

Every single episode is very funny anytime I watch it. Since there are only 12 of them it's impossible to pick "the best" one, but the one with the fish is certainly one of the best
