New hardware failure...but no new hardware. System has been running fine for some time. Today I start it up and it has an issue with "new hardware installation". Nothing has changed since yesterday. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

What do you do with your old hardware? My workroom is almost at the point where I need to climb over a mountain of old tower cases, laptops, printers, hubs etc. just to sit at my desk! We have several machines at work that came with 7 Pro keys that we'll never use. I've tried to use one on another PC and it won't activate for some reason. Is it possible that they'll only work on these laptops they were supplied with? Seems odd and I've never heard of this before.....
