    My Windows 8

Lets make something simple. Lets make something together.
Lets make the best concept of an operating system.

    My Ideas:

    Improvements:

    • Registry replacement.

      1. Every app creates a config file in C:\Files\Config

    • Make easier to install files.

      1. EasyInstall™ Applications that simply works.
      2. AutoBackup after every installed program.

    • New GUI.
    • Cloud Backups.
    • Improved performance.
    • Reduced size.
    • New file System

      1. Faster
      2. System is located in C:\System\
      3. Applications are located in C:\Files\Applications

    Give me your ideas.

Integrated touch so when you punch the monitor, Troubleshooter starts.

Screen in your pic is still a little cluttered. No icons on screen everything is right-click menu driven.

Registry is exactly that anyways so just keep registry as is. Its quicker than looking through 71,000 config files.

Deleting items in the registry automatically creates a backup and allows an Undo button to be usable.

Disabling System Restore prompts you to create a system restore point just in case or requires you to make an system image or recovery partition.

Default User profiles are temporary and every login resets all structure so you cant destroy anything to badly.

Your user profile is like a saved game: OS is like a game where you start off fresh with only one "weapon" as you advance you can save your game. Clearing the first level of difficulty unlocks different administrator tools and so on. You get full Admin rights once you complete the game. comperable to being a true System Administrator.

Sounds like crunchbang, which is a Linux Distro. I used it for some time on my laptop.

It should come with no software or bloatware, this should be optional from an add remove software menu, it should be completely customisable, new file system, boot in under 15 seconds, not require anti virus, have multiple desktops and .....hold on that is what you can have now, Linux has always been ahead of Windows, all the features I like in Win7 Linux has done for years.
With Linux you don't ever need to re install to over come an issue, you can create your own OS and burn it to iso or usb thumb stick.
Don't get me wrong I love Win7 but looking at Linux you can tell what features you will be getting in Win8. I run Mint, Ubuntu, Win7 and will be using Google OS and I use Android on the move.

Have automatic backups and restore points for everything you install.

Get rid of BSOD's... and actually give us some RELEVANT information about what's gone wrong. Don't put "Stop 0x124" put "Somethings wrong with your hardware, try this to fix it"
