    Going ahead and changing system specs


    All of my parts SHOULD be in by tomorrow, so i thought i would go ahead and change them so yall can see what it will be when i'm done.

    I'm going from...

    OS: Windows 7 Pro 32bit To Windows 7 Pro 64bit

    Motherboard: ASUS A7V8X to GIGABYTE GA-MA785GMT-UD2H

    CPU: AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 2.17ghz (single core) To AMD Athlon II X2 240 2.8ghz (dual core) Later will upgrade to AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz (quad core)

    GPU: Radeon 9800 pro 256mb AGP To IGP Radeon HD 4200 Later will upgrade to a much higher ATI or Nvidia HD card

    PSU: 400watts To Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL 600Watts

    Memory: 2x 1 Gig DDR To 2x 2Gig DDR3 Later will upgrade up to 8gig DDR3

    Computer Tower: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

    Looks good and should be like night and day compared to the old one. Even the video despite being onboard will give that old 9800 Pro a run for its money.

    Always fun configuring and then enjoying a new PC. I don't plan to change mine (only a few months old) for many years, but still look at parts, lol. Enjoy your new rig! A Guy
