    At my house my DAD said "NO dessert until you've eaten your meal.".. I rarely had room left for desserts.. so when I was in my late 20's... married with a small daughter. I decided it was okay to eat my favorite dessert at the meal beginning if I really wanted it... when in a restaurant even now.. I get those ...Are you nuts looks when I ask for my dessert first.. I just smile really big and say.. "I'm a big girl now " I can have my dessert first !!!!!
    as I close my mouth over a bite of my favorite coconut pie.. or other
    dessert..closing my eyes.. with delight.as the dessert melts all inside my mouth.
