Ford brings the 5.0 back!

Already on sale the new 2011 Mustang has once again a 5.0 under the hood! Codenamed Coyote it is probably one of the best engines ever developed.

OK, kidding 5.0 is a good engine, and with todays computer management, it will likely be Ford's most powerful 302.

I agree with you, Smarty.
Most of our european Fords aren't that great. Except for the Focus RS, Focus ST and the Focus RS500 (and some older ones as well)
But they are good for family cars though (the Mondeo for example)

But i admire those Aussie Falcons, they are really nice, especially the XR8. I drove one once, and damn it was good :)

As a man whose worked on a lot of engines I can safely say that Ford Europe has never ever developed a good engine. They are always sacrificing power for performance or longevity or something or other. They have been the worst polluters for many years far exceeding the pollution caused by the oil spill in Mexican waters....
But, what the heck we don't care. Lets have all cars working on a 5.0 litre engine...Pollute the world go ahead and make our day!

I had an '85 5.0 last year, and loved it. Good to hear that they are bringing it back.
