So in the US you think you have a problem

    Hi there
I've read that thr USA is trying some type of Internet monitoring -- but how's this for a real Nanny State.

I just wanted to place 10 EUR or about 10 GBP on Holland winning the world cup -- perfectly innocent and harmless activity that I've done from loads of Countries

but FRANCE home of 'La Liberte ... etc and all that stuff they scream about in their National Anthem la Marseillaise I can't get access to a 100% pefectly legal site.

In the UK people are always complaining about the Nanny State but I think this takes it to a new level.

I still got my bet on by going via a proxy or RDP to my home server in Iceland but I really shouldn't have to do this.

    Cheers

Not sure what you mean , Jimbo.

The message says Betfair doesn't accept bets from the country you are in - that is some weird Betfair policy.

It is not France preventing you from betting.

Just proves that internet filters don't work.
You still managed to place your bet.
