    xbox 360 cooling?


    hi guys i just got a xbox 360 i know that the new models don't over heat that much i was just wondering if you guys know and have any tips so it will not over heat?

    While I don't own an Xbox 360.. Pretty much all rules apply.

    Keep your unit in a well ventilated area. Airflow is the most important part.

    Keep your unit free of dust. Once or twice a week, dust the unit with a microfibre cloth.

    I myself prefer to vacum the vents in my PS3, as opposed to using a can of air duster. If you have a Dyson vacum cleaner, or anything similar, use a small attachment to vacum out the vents every month or so.(depending on the dust content of your living space)

    That's pretty much it.

    Pretty much what electro said - keep it ventilated and as free of as much dust as possible.

    Avoid placing it in small enclosed places.

    ALSO, besides what's said above, make sure you turn it off when you aren't using it.

    Computers are fine staying on the majority of the time, but my roommates 360 fried when he forgot he had it on and went on vacation for a week.
