I hope it's nicer down South than it is in my part of Lancashire LW7.
We're experiencing heavy showers and very high winds.
These are causing an issue for myself and my dog, The Hound of Mystery.
I live in a third floor flat and the wind is causing the plastic widows to make a low pitched thrumming noise which is terrifying the dog.
He's not a big dog but neither is he small. He's a cross between a Jack Russel and something much longer and larger with a big head. I'd suspect a Basset Hound if I knew one.
The last two nights I've been woken at 3am by this heavy beast coiled up on my upper back amd head, quivering like a jelly.
I'm working long hours at the moment and this is not helping.
It's tough being a pet owner sometimes but what can I do? I love him
